The Sparticle Mystery

3rd Series of Popular Children's Drama

The third season of the popular CBBC children's Sci-Fi drama "The Sparticle Mystery" is currently currently airing on the CBBC Channel, every Monday at 5pm.

Set in a modern day world without adults, the new series follows the Tribe Sparticles as they try to solve their biggest mystery to date.

After a quantum sized mix up at the Quantum Nexus saw the missing parents return as teenagers and take over the childrens' society, the Sparticles are thrown into a Human Zoo at the pleasure of the new ruler, the teenage bully Queen Kylie. In a world where toys are banned and play is frowned upon, there is only one tribe of children who can put the fun back into freedom. The Sparticles must work out how to ship back their unwanted teenage parents to the right dimension.

Alison Hume, Creator of The Sparticle Mystery, said "This time we're ramping up the adventures of children growing up in a world without adults to a whole new level as they battle for control with their teenage parents. We can't wait to give our viewers more of the mix they love - fast paced action, spooky sci-fi, memorable characters and of course lots of fun!"

Full post production (Daillies Operations, Edit, Online, Grade, Foley, Mix) was performed by Yellowmoon with the series edited by Andrew Tohill, Conor Meechan, and Paul Devlin. Jonny Fetherston graded and onlined the series, with Aaron O'Neill as Sound Editor and Paul Maynes as the Dubbing Mixer.

The series is made for CBBC for Sparticles Productions with additional funding from Northern Ireland Screen and Cake Entertainment. Executive producers are Alison Hume, Stephen Smallwood and Jon East for Sparticles Productions and Sue Nott for CBBC.
