Post-production is nearing completion on “The Beauty of Diagrams” a 6x30 minute series for BBC4. It details great stories of scientific discovery told through unique drawings and diagrams from all over Europe. Presented by internationally acclaimed mathematician Marcus du Sautoy, he investigates how they came about, their significance in their own time and their greater significance after. Some of the diagrams explored are Newton's Prism Diagram, Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man and the Pioneer Plaque.
