The Galway Film Fleadh came to a close on Sunday after what was another outstanding weekend of craic and culture on the West Coast and we are delighted to say that some of our work walked away with some well deserved recognition!
A Bump Along the Way took home the Best Irish First Feature Award and Lola Petticew picked up the Bingham Ray New Talent Award for the part she played in it.
Filmed in Derry and led by an all–female creative team, A Bump Along the Way was directed by Shelly Love, written by Tess McGowan, produced by Louise Gallagher and executive produced by Roma Downey.
Element Distribution has acquired the rights in the UK and Ireland and the film will be screened in cinemas from Friday 30th August.
Go see it!
